Our Social Justice Council’s Annual Operation St. Nick (OSN) was another success this year! Together with everyone’s help, we donated about 5000 items to local charities such as 360 Kids and the Good Shepherd. The Amazon Canada First Novel Award is currently seeking submissions for the Youth Short Story category.  Authors between the ages of thirteen and seventeen are invited to submit a short story under 3,000 words.

The deadline for submissions is February 14, 2022, at 4:59 p.m. ET.

The YCDSB Mental Health Team is pleased to share that they are offering TWO new groups:  Stand Up to Depression and Taking Charge of Your Emotions.  Flyers for each of these groups can be found below and contain links to Google Forms for interested students to complete.  These are great opportunities to get some help if you need it!
