STL MATH CONTESTS

STL administers many internationally recognized contests to help inspire the next generation of students to develop an interest in and love for mathematics. Through our Math Contests we hope to encourage students to challenge themselves in the area mathematics!

Interested students should ask their math teachers about these contests and check out the STL app for the Google Classroom Code.

2024 Lenten Mass

On March 21, 2024 the York Catholic District School Board celebrated the third annual board-wide Lenten Mass of Renewal and Reconciliation. Livestreamed to the board’s 50,000 students, the Mass featured the talented students of St Edward Catholic Elementary School and St Brother Andre Catholic High School, in Markham, who performed the music and helped with the readings.

Exams

Formal examinations begin on Friday January 26, 2024 through to Wednesday January 31, 2024.  

Students are required to be in FULL UNIFORM during examinations and they are asked to report to their exam locations no later than 8:10 a.m. Exams will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. (after morning announcements and prayer).  Students are ONLY to attend school on days when they have a ...
