This week for Black History Month, Diversity and Equity Council is presenting stories of change by a new generation of African-Canadians. Tiffany and her peers at the Ryerson University Journalism program petitioned for a new course called “Reporting on Race: The Black Community in the Media.” Her story reveals how to achieve profound change and racial representation by working through the education system.
