Orange Shirt Day

September 30th was Orange Shirt Day.  It was an opportunity for the STL community to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope because #EveryChildMatters.  Our students learned  What is Orange Shirt Day?, Why September 30th?, Canada’s History of Residential Schools, and they listened to the survivor story of Louise Longclaws. Students also engaged in classroom activities.

Turtle Concepts Guest Speakers
