Virtual STL 2020 Graduation and Clap Out
STL’s Virtual Graduation video aired on the original graduation date on Wednesday June 24 @ 7:00 pm using the YouTube platform.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the final year for STL’s graduating students has been tragically cut short. They will not be able to say goodbye to friends, staff, and the school itself in the way they all envisioned at the beginning of the year. Instead, the STL community has had to distance themselves from one another.
𝗪𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐮𝐱 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥!
Despite the official graduation ceremony being postponed, many students from the graduating class of 2020 worked together to create the following video, titled “𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐓𝐋 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎,” which is approximately 52 minutes, and includes the following sections:
▶️ a scripted message read by graduates;
▶️ individual students sharing their own personal thoughts and memories;
▶️ a video montage of photos taken by students highlighting their time at STL;
▶️ staff and special guest messages;
▶️ a slideshow of most members of the 2020 graduating class in their grad outfits.
