& CAREERS EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
The Guidance and Careers Education department is committed to promoting and enhancing a sound, innovative, and professional support program through a delivery of services. The focus of the department is on the health and well being of all students and their futures. Counsellors are available to discuss any concerns such as personal issues, academic affairs, and career planning.
The Guidance Department dispatches information to the students at St. Theresa of Lisieux CHS through one or more of the following vehicles:
- morning announcements
- presentations
- bulletin boards found outside of the guidance office

- the RED scholarship binder The Guidance Department is responsible for delivering the compulsory grade 10 Career Studies course coded GLC 2O1. This course is designed to guide students through an inquiry process that they will use to develop their personal career and
life planning. Student progress will be assessed based on the four achievement categories as outlined in the Ministry of Education’s Guidance and Career Education curriculum document.

Students at St. Theresa of Lisieux CHS have access to a guidance counsellor for advice on any issues from Personal to Academic. Each student is assigned a counsellor based on the initial of their surname: |
