E.S.P. WEEK - NOVEMBER 16TH TO NOVEMBER 20TH

The E.S.P. Committee organized a week full of activities to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, impaired driving, and bullying.  On Monday, Nov. 16th, students were told by Matt Evans, a speaker for Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving, that students must make wise decisions regarding drugs and alcohol.  Videos about healthy life choices were shown during the lunch periods.  During lunch periods, students were also able to see the displays created by students.  Our annual Pink Day to show support against bullying was a success.  Finally on Friday, Nov. 20th, Robert Annan, an officer who deals with accident awareness, talked to the grade 12 students about how speeding, being careless, driving impaired, and not wearing seatbelts can kill.  The E.S.P. Committee hopes that students will continue to make healthy choices in their lives.
