School Councils play a fundamental role across the York Catholic District School Board in ensuring student success.
St. Theresa of Lesieux Catholic School Council is a dynamic advisory body made up of parents, community members, teachers, school administrative staff and students. Our objectives include helping to create and maintain an environment which is conducive to improve student learning, enhancing communication with parents, teachers and students, and developing a common vision for our school.
Meeting on a monthly basis, in the school Library from 7 to 9 PM, our Council receives regular updates from the Principal and other senior staff on important issues at the School. We are consulted on an ongoing basis by the School administration, and School Council members provide critical input into policies and procedures affecting the education and well-being of the students at STL.
Parents and community members are always welcome to attend our meetings, or to send comments or suggestions.
Those who wish to contact the school council by e-mail, may send e-mails to stlcsc@hotmail.com and they will be addressed. We would like to compile a mailing list of e-mail addresses in order to serve our school population better so please include it. Your e-mail address will be kept confidential.
